– Fasten the pipe into the fitting and ensure that it is well fixed for sometime depending on the type of cement used.

CPVC fittings are exactly like PVC fittings but are capable of withstanding higher temperatures and are common in hot water supply systems.

A fitting that is produced in PVC and has a plain end that is able to enter into another fitting is referred to as SPG (Spigot) fitting. It is similar to the way when a pipe fits into a socket fitting.
